this perfectly captures the feeling of lonliness. the division between the cool and warm colours, the placement of the one figure down and away,... the entire composition... i'll have to study it a little more to know WHY it works so well, but it does. one of your best works, for sure.

I wish I was as invisible as you make me feel...

I'm at a loss for words, because your painting conveys so much more than i could say. It is so emotional, i cant help but be so caught up in emotion, and lonliness. And as for your words for cari, i'll send you a message about that one later... ... true lonliness is standing in a crowd and feeling so distant from everyone else, so alinated, so invisible, so alone.

but i have something positive to say. Being in a relationship isnt the only way to not feel lonely. having great friends that care about you and love you are equally as wonderful as as significant other. Personally, everyday i marvel at the fact that i have such wonderful friends to keep me company, and to understand that we all need each other. I even find that i feel less lonely thinking about the friends that may not be here with me, but still love me. I understand lonliness... it sneaks in unbidden in the dark of night. and it keeps us awake, causes us to cry when there was no previous cause. but i believe lonliness can help us grow, help us to understand ourselves. eventually you learn to not be so lonely when you are alone. :hugh:

All I want to do is be her friend. Seriously. I am not looking to go out with her at all.. btw what is your problem with me alex ?- She had told me a while back that the only reason you felt anger and resentment is because you wanted to go out with her too? I have done nothing to piss you off personally so I dont think you have the right to give your opinion. If you want to talk about this further please leave me a note. I dont think cari is retarded at all for what she has done. Alex personally I think you are a really good friend and your just looking out for cari. I actually thank your really cool and funny and still would like to be your friend too.
